It's also a great place to catch some sun or a sun rise.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong>Left\/Lefts<\/strong> - A top tier long board break is a simple 7-minute walk.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong>The Sheraton Beach<\/strong> - A 10 to 15 minute walk gets you to the world famous Sheraton Beach - a great place to learn how to ride waves and one of the best beaches on the island for taking in some sun.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kauai.com\/shipwrecks-beach\">Shipwreck's Beach<\/a><\/strong> - One of the most dramatic beaches on the south shore. It's where the ocean meets the rocks and sand. Da Crack is surprisingly on point and a quick drive up Poipu Road.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anuenuecafe.com\">Avenue Cafe<\/a><\/strong> - Known for a fantastic breakfast lineup.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pietroskauai.com\">Pietro's Pizza<\/a><\/strong> - Solid pizza for dining in or carrying out!<\/p><p>-\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-beach-house.com\">The Beach House<\/a><\/strong> - Have a nice dinner with the family while overlooking the south shore.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/littlefishcoffee.com\"><strong>Little Fish<\/strong><\/a> - An island favorite... Fantastic coffee!<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"qodef-tabs-content\" id=\"qodef-tab-shopping-933\">\n\t<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nukumoi.com\">Nukumoi Surf Shop<\/a><\/strong> - Our home surf shop that's been a staple on Poipu Beach for decades.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/poipushoppingvillage.com\">Poipu Shipping Village<\/a><\/strong> - Everything from a Starbucks to souvenir shops.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theshopsatkukuiula.com\">The Shops at KuKui'ula<\/a><\/strong> - Some high-end shopping, lots of restaurants, and home of Poipu Surf Shop.<\/p><p>-\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oldkoloa.com\">Old Town Koloa<\/a><\/strong> - The old city center is full of eccentric shopping, food, and even a grocery store or two.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timessupermarkets.com\/store\/koloa-big-save\">Koloa Big Save<\/a><\/strong> - A decent sized grocery store within 10 minutes of Hale Mano.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.costco.com\/warehouse-locations\/kauai-lihue-hi-640.html\">Costco Lihue<\/a><\/strong> - A 30-minute drive from Koloa and probably the best place on the island to stock up on basics for your trip.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"qodef-tabs-content\" id=\"qodef-tab-misc-251\">\n\t<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gohawaii.com\/islands\/kauai\/regions\/north-shore\/hanalei-town\">Hanalei Town<\/a><\/strong> - Yes, traffic can get unruly on the old beach roads of the north shore, but it's hard not to recommend a visit to one of our favorite towns on earth.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gohawaii.com\/islands\/kauai\/regions\/west-side\/waimea-canyon\">Waimea Canyon<\/a> <\/strong>- It's like the Grand Canyon... only GRANDER because it has water falls! Bring your hiking shoes and some water and prepare to have your breath taken.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kauai.com\/kilauea-lighthouse\">Kilauea Light House<\/a><\/strong> - Remarkable views from the old east shore lighthouse.<\/p><p>-<\/p><p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gohawaii.com\/islands\/kauai\/regions\/north-shore\/napali-coast\">Napali Coast<\/a><\/strong> - The pictures don't do it justice... Neither do the movies. To experience the Napali Coast, you just have to see it for yourself.
